Lynn Yap is the author ofThe Altruistic Capitalist. A qualified attorney in multiple jurisdictions, Lynn has taken companies public on Wall Street and has worked on innovation strategies with consumer companies.
Having earned an MBA from The Wharton School, Lynn’s passionate about shifting the business conversation from short term goals and profits to sustainable impact for our people and the planet.
Lynn is also the founder of Actv8 Network, Actv8 partner with companies to deliver educational and developmental programmes that have a lifetime impact on their target student group. As well as making a contribution to the students, company participants receive training and the opportunity to practice invaluable workplace skills, such as coaching, giving and receiving feedback, design thinking, leadership and communication.
Lynn is passionate about working with business leaders to create social impact and value with all stakeholders, customers, teams and partners alike. Her experience in innovation, brand and strategy as well as skill sets in data analytics, business model innovation and design thinking, enables her to support brands in implementing purpose in their strategy and communication.
She has worked with global companies and start-ups in the US and Europe to increase brand awareness and marketing campaign efficiency, deliver operational excellence and digital transformation, and increase sales in existing and new markets.
